Fair System

With this new installment, players in the area of the same level can choose to exchange Gold for Silver or exchange Silver for Gold in the Market. The whole idea is to build a flea market where you exchange goods freely.

In the Fair panel, you can Buy Gold or Sell Gold. Input the Gold amount and the Unit Price and then click Release to open a Thread in the Market. Your pending Threads will be displayed under My Threads in the middle column. Other players’ threads will be displayed under Threads in the first column.
Mall System

Senatry’s Mall system is drastically modified to be more intuitive; items are categorized by Speed Up, Betterment, Consumption, Chest and Top Up to avoid confusion. The Senatry team definitely does a good job at making their hot sold items hotter!

Players can follow the tutorial to get familiar with the game at their first login. What we talk about here is how to use resources smartly and develop our force quickly. First, about resources. You are suggested to use the default 200 Gold to buy 2 training spaces and 1 builder team. This will cost all the Gold but be profitable. You’ll need a great deal of Hero training and Building upgrading. Second, about upgrading Buildings. Buildings should not get upgraded too high and too quickly. That is because player of higher level, which means he has a higher level Senatus, gets less Exploits than lower level Players when attacking the same NPC.
However, players still need to upgrade Buildings to fight superior NPCs and enter a higher level Area at last. (Every Area has a level. If you want to relocate your City into a higher level Area, you need to defeat the specific NPC it requires.) In this case you can try to upgrade Buildings according to the process of NPC fighting. For example, you may consider upgrading only when you cannot get over certain NPC and you need more advanced Heroes and Equipment.
Tips: Do not upgrade your Senatus to the highest level it can be in that Area, especially when you stay as a newcomer.
Third, about fighting NPC. Both luck and Array are important. Players rely on well-trained Heroes and fine Equipment to past NPCs. You know, Infantry block, Calvary miss offenses and Distal Units hit critically. However, they launch these skills randomly. If you are a lucky guy, they launch and they launch at the right time. If not…
You can also adjust the formation of Array to strengthen your offense and defense. Deploy Infantry in the front to block offenses, Distal Unit in the back to emit more damage. Smart Arrays get you past NPCs quickly. As for NPCs in Apennine, there are 3 Heroes you can recruit after you defeat them, of which Spartacus is a must to have for he has the Rage Skill of Guard and is a good shield.

When you have defeated Spartacus in Apennine, you are able to relocate your City to Rome where City can be upgraded to level 20.
When you are in Rome, first upgrade Senatus to level 11. Then you’ll have University where you can study technologies to remarkably enhance your military power.
Second, reserve more Crops. When the Senatus is upgraded to Lv 10, you’ll have the building of Granary and a new resource—Crops which you rely on to employ Soldiers. You are suggested to reserve plentiful Crops from now on for Soldiers will be consumed in fights after the Senatus has achieved Lv 15. Get yourself prepared for that!
Third, about fighting NPC. Remember to upgrade both Equipment and Heroes in the course of fighting NPCs. This helps you move quicker. There are 3 recruitable Heroes in the map of Macedon, of which Biblus is a must to have. Biblus’ troop is an Engine Unit which has high Offense and Critical Hits. Other two Heroes are equally useful. Recruitment is upon your own choice.

When you’ve defeated the boss in the map of Macedon, Lv 30 Area will be open to you. Before you relocate to a Lv 30 Area, you have to choose and join a Family.
First, about Family choosing. The 3 candidates— the Scipii, the Julii and the Brutii—have different battling features which can be seen from their Prestige Heroes. The Scipii feature column offense and physical offense, the Julii plane offense and the Brutii row offense and single offense. They have similar property of territories and differ just in fighting modes. Players often choose a Family out of personal interests.
Second, the new resource Prestige is a key factor in your development. Prestige is supposed to decide your Noble Rank in your Family. A high enough Noble Rank is the only way to get the Prestige Heroes exclusively owned by your Family. So higher Prestige, more Prestige Heroes.
Third, about NPCs in Gaul and Greece. Defeating the Gallic NPCs is the precondition to entering Lv 40 Areas. Stronger NPCs will show in the map of Gaul, such as the column offense Heroes and plane RS offense Heroes. NPCs in Greece have two important supportive units—Medical Corps and Priestess and a dreadful RS Hero—the Hero of Total Attack.

When players have defeated Ariterix from Gaul, Lv 40 Areas will be open. In Lv 40 Areas players can entrust businessmen to get more advanced Equipment, mainly Horses and Shields.
First, about the new function—Entrustment. When the Senatus is upgraded to Lv 30, Entrustment panel will be open in the section of Armory. Players are suggested to entrust dealers to get Orange Horse with which NPCs will be easier to pass.
Second, about upgrading Senatus. There is one thing players must know: Bugle will not be consumed if players fail to defeat a NPC before he reaches Lv 35. After that, however, a defeated fight with NPC will also cost Bugle. Remember this and be more careful when battling NPCs if you are already at Lv 35.
Third, about fighting NPCs. 2 maps for this stage, of which Germania has the access to Lv 60 Areas. Germania has the Heroes of Engine Unit with high physical offense, of Engine Unit with single Critical Hit, of Engine Unit with high single Damage to recruit. Hispania has the Hero of Engine Unit with line offense. Recruitment depends on players’ interest.

After defeating Ballomar from Germania, players can relocate to Lv 60 Areas in which Commerce and Area War will be open.
First, about Commerce. When the Senatus is upgraded to Lv 41, you will have the building of Vomitorium in your City and from there dispatch Caravans to other players. This is called Commerce and both parties get Silver revenue from Commerce. With the help of Commerce, players can be more financially capable to upgrade Equipment and entrust dealers for superior Equipment.
Tips: Do not upgrade Vomitorium too high for once. Commerce is refreshed upon every upgrading of Vomitorium, so upgrade it only when the Commerce in it is finished. In this way, you can make full use of Vomitorium at every level.
Second, about Area War. There are 2 Lv 60 Areas in each Family. Players in one of them can start Area War against a Lv 60 Area of other Families, while players in the other Area cannot. When the Area War breaks out, which usually takes place in autumn, players in both Areas can join in and will be rewarded with plentiful Prestige either winning or losing the war. But the defeated side will lose 20% of its Family share in that Area.
Third, about fighting NPCs in Egypt and Britannia. Egypt leads to Lv 80 Areas. There is a saying that is like “Come to Egypt for the sake of Cleopatra”. You have a reason to recruit Cleopatra because her troop, the Harpers, can increase the Rage Points of all of your Heroes and practically enhance their strength. Besides, she is so beautiful. Who could turn down a beautiful woman?

Introduction of Heroes and Troops
Foreword:
In SENATRY, Hero is not a separate person; instead, he/she has a troop consisting of Soldiers. It is the troop who actually fights. Heroes are sorted into 4 types as following: Rage Skill (RS), Engine, Tactical and Support. RS Heroes lead the troop of Calvary unit, Infantry unit or Distal unit; Engine Heroes lead Engine Unit; Tactical Heroes lead Tactical Unit; Support Heroes lead Support Unit.

Actions
Troops have various actions in battle, mainly four types:
► Block
Some troops can use their armors or shields to block Physical offense back to the enemy. Tactical offense and RS offense cannot be blocked. When the physical offense is blocked back, the troop itself will not be harmed or their Rage Points (RP) increased. And the enemy will suffer damage but their RP won’t be increased as well.
► Miss
Some troops can miss the enemy’s RS offense and Physical offense. Tactical offense cannot be missed. When the offense is missed, the troop itself will not be harmed or their RP increased. And the enemy won’t be harmed from the missed offense or their RP increased, neither.
► Critical Hit
Some troops can launch Critical Hits to enemies and create extra damage on them.
► Counterstrike
Some troops can counterstrike a Physical offense to the enemy when attacked by them. Counterstrike will cause a rise in the enemy’s RP.
Notes: there is only 1 action at one time.

Units:
► Cavalry Unit
Common action: Miss
Cavalry move very fast and have good offense and defense. They can miss the enemy’s RS offense and Physical offense.
► Infantry Unit
Common action: Block
Well armored Infantry have excellent defense and block. Only Physical offense can be blocked back.
► Distal Unit
Common action: Critical Hit Light equipped, Distal Unit have low defense but high Damage and Critical Hits.
► Support Unit
Common action: None Support Units do not have a common action. Different Support Units have different combat bonus.
► Tactical Unit
Common action: Zero Critical Hit
Tactical Unit is special. Their offense cannot be blocked or missed by the enemy once launched. But their offense has a chance to be ineffective after launched, and Tactical Unit is not able to burst out a Critical Hit.

Damge:
Troops can create damage on enemies, mainly three types:
► Rage Skill(RS) damage
RS damage is the damage of RS launched when the Hero’s RP is accumulated to 100. RS damage is dreadful and can only be ignored by troops who are capable of Miss.
Tips: Support Unit can increase our troops’ Rage Points. When RP is accumulated to 100, the offense of Rage Skill will break out.
► Physical damage
Physical damage, also called normal damage, is the basic damage and has no preconditions to get output. However, Physical damage could be blocked or missed.
► Tactical damage
Tactical damage can be regarded as a kind of spiritual damage. It cannot be blocked or missed but has a chance to fail to work.

Heroes’ Traits:
Heroes have 3 kinds of Traits: Leadership, Bravery and Intelligence. Leadership affects the troop’s physical offense and defense, Bravery the RS offense and defense, Intelligence the Tactical offense and defense. Heroes’ Traits is essential in his fighting force and can be increase through Adventures.

Heroes’ Soldiers:
The amount of Soldiers in Heroes’ troop affects the impact of the output damage. More Soldiers, higher damage.
The functions of Heroes in battle mainly lie in the bonus of his Traits on his troop. The upgrades of Heroes results in more Soldiers in the troop, and Heroes with a higher recruiting price can have more Soldiers than those with a lower price when upgraded.
Strategy in Array
Array is important in SENATRY. A smart Array helps a lot. According to the rules of battling in the game, the frontline of Array should be high defense Heroes and be protective of rear Heroes.

Server will be closed for maintenance at 01:00-01:15 June 23, 2011. The following bugs will be fixed:
1. The error in mistaking the Lucky Points with Crops Price.
2. Two Leagues capturing the same Ranch at the same time. From now on, if multiple Leagues start Ranch Wars for the same Ranch, they have to wait in order to fight the war. Leagues who apply early can fight early. The interval between the wars is 30 minutes (including the 20 minutes of countdown). Besides, if League A has won the ranch, League B will fight League A when it starts the Ranch War.
3. Language bugs.
4. When entering the Area from World map, players came to the page they left with last time instead of the first page.

Every player can have 200 Gold from the system when they first log in the game.

2. Is there any protection time for the newcomers?
Players cannot attack each other before upgrading to Lv 21 where they can choose and join a Family. So newcomers are in a protection mode before Lv 21.

3. What should I do when the game is stuck at Loading?
You can remove cookies in your Internet Explorer before re-login the game: select “Tools” in the menu bar—->> “Internet Options”—->> “Internet Temporary Files”—->> “Delete Cookies” and “Delete Files”—->>”OK”.

4. Why can’t the Senatus be further upgraded after it reached Lv 9?
Senatus level cannot exceed the level of the Area where you are in. If you want a higher level for your city, you need to relocate it to Rome. Rome will be open to you when you defeat Spartacus in the map of Appenine in the War Scene.

5. How can I get Gold?
You have a chance to get Gold from each levy. A higher level Temple will give you a higher chance. Good luck will also be very helpful!

6. How can I get more Silver in the levy?
The amount of the levied Silver is related to the sum of Cottage levels, Scriptorium level, Regional prosperity and the League Tax Law level, etc. When the above are upgraded, you can get more Silver in the levy.

7. How to check my Prestige Rank?
Click Senatus and enter the Promotion panel. You can find Prestige Rank in the column of Noble Rank Info.

8. How much Silver does the Vassal pay the Sovereign?
Every time the Vassal levy Silver, a certain amount will be paid to the Sovereign. These extra Silver is not from the levy revenue but is generated from the system. The more Silver the Vassal levied, the more he has to pay the Sovereign. His payment counts for 10% of his revenue. However, when the Sovereign himself is in turn conquered by another player, the Vassal will then need to pay only 5% of his revenue.

9. Why do the Assists bring different rises in the Hero’s EXP?
Higher level training places, i.e. Area, Circus Maximum, Amphitheatre, enables bigger rises in the Hero’s EXP. So if you want to win more EXP for your Hero, upgrade these buildings first.

10. How many Trait Points can the Hero get at most after they take the adventure?
Hero’s current level + 20

11. What is the function of the Share EXP?
Hero can share his EXP with his troop. In this way his troop can be upgraded but the Hero himself, losing all EXP, will be downgraded to Lv 1 and will need a new upgrade.

12. Why did I enlist the same amount of Soldiers with different volume of Crops?
The taken Crops is related to the City level which is determined by the Senatus level. Soldiers in higher level City need more Crops.

13. Why can’t I buy more Crops after I have done one Crops trade?
There is a trade volume limit daily. It is reset to 0 at 5 a.m. everyday or upon Market upgrading. When the Market is upgraded, the trade volume limit is also raised.

14. How does the Crops Price change?
The lowest Crop Price is 0.5, the highest 2. It starts from 0.5 and increases till it reaches the top. Then it gradually gets down and returns to 0.5. Time is very important in Crops Trading. Buy crops at a low price and sell it high will be regarded as a successful trading.

15. Are all the buildings upgraded instantly?
Yes, all buildings in Senatry are upgraded instantly. However, the builders need a cooldown period after each upgrade. You can continue the upgrading until the cooldown periods are accumulated to the limit of 4 hrs. Then you have to stop upgrading and wait for the cooldown to pass by, or you can spend Gold to skip the cooldown period.

16. Why do I have to wait 2 hrs before upgrading Senatus to Lv 16 while it takes only 40 mins for other players?
It is related to the fatigue degree. The builders will grow more and more tired and it’ll take more time for upgrading to cooldown as they continue to upgrade buildings. The cooldown is reset to 0 at 5 a.m. everyday. It is the same for the cooldown of Tech upgrading and bugle.

17. Why has my Attack button turned dark and unable to click?
Probably the bugle is cooling down or that NPC has been attacked to its limit. Leave the cursor on the button for a while and the exact reason will be shown.

18. When can I receive the Expedition reward?
You can receive the reward when you achieve 100% of the Expedition. The completion degree will be shown in the map of each force. The enemy with a red flag is the one waiting to be defeated while the one without is already defeated and the one with a whilte flag is your next enemy. After you have defeated all, the monument will emit a strong beam of light. Click and enter to receive the reward.

19. Why can’t I relocate my city although I am qualified?
You might be in a relocating cooldown. After you have relocated your city to an area, you have to wait 24hrs for the next relocate.

The amount of levied Silver is based on the regional prosperity. Higher level Area permits a higher prosperity baseline. You can also increase the baseline by investment in this area.

One bugle is restored every hour. Besides, you can get an extra bugle everyday at 8:30, 12:30 and 19:00. Every upgrading of Senatus gives you a bugle too. You can also buy bugles with Gold when your VIP level is sufficient.

22. What can I do when Hero cannot get much EXP in training and grows so slowly?
You can select a more advanced training mode with Gold, or assist the training with Exploits or Gold. Just click “Assist” in the Train Panel.

You have to know that members who have won 3 victories leave the battle automatically. Your league is supposed to have at least 1 member in battle after defeating the defender’s League if you want to get victory. Otherwise, the defender wins even if they are all destroyed.

34. What are the ways to get Silver?
You can get Silver from the following ways: Levy, Crops Trade, Sell Equipment, Domain Harvest, Domain War, Commerce, Performance and Vassal Payment.

35. Can I still get Equipment from attacking NPC after I have received the Expedition Reward?
Yes, you can. Though Expedition Reward can be received only once, you can still fight NPC to get their Equipment after you’ve finished the expedition.

36. How can I get more Prestige in shorter time?
Try attacking players with a higher hostile degree. There are 6 hostile degrees which are marked in 6 colors.
1 Neutral (White): attack the player to get a little Prestige;
2 Offensive (Green): attack to get a little more Prestige;
3 Wanted (Blue): attack to get some Prestige;
4 Most Wanted (Purple): attack to get some more Prestige;
5 Nefarious (Orange): attack to get adequate Prestige;
6 Public Enemy (Red): attack to get plentiful Prestige.
Investment and Exploit Donation are reliable ways to enhance Prestige.

37. Why can I not attack players in some cases?
1. Attacking players is not allowed in winter.
2. You may run out of your Bugles. 1 bugle is restored each hour. Besides that, 3 extra bugles will be given by system at 8:30, 12:30, 19:00 every day.
3. Players will not be attacked under protection or in truce status.

38. Why should I be defeated by players who have a lower level than mine?
1. Your level only represents the level of your Senatus. While you have a higher level Senatus, your Equipment may be less developed. Equipment can be improved in Armory.
2. Or your Technology is less competent than theirs. Go upgrade Tech in University.
3. The function of your default Array is just restrained by the one of your enemy. Select another array as default in the Array Panel of the Troop Section.

39. Will the soldiers of my Heroes still be replenished automatically after I reached Lv 15?
The soldiers of your Heroes will be always replenished automatically. Before you reach Lv 15, during which you do not have a Barrack, fighting will not consume soldiers. After Lv 15, you will have a Barrack to reserve soldiers and the loss of soldiers in fight will be restored with soldier reserves in Barrack.

40. Why can’t I speak in Family Channel?
Only the players whose Prestige ranks within the top 100 can speak in Family Channel.

The amount of enlisted soldiers at one time is the Barrack level times 200.

You will have a Vomitorium in your City at Lv 41 and send Caravans to other players.

47. Why am I still using the former Array when I’ve changed it with a new one?
After you selected a new Array, please click the Default button below that very Array to make it the default array in battle.

49. How many colors does all the Equipment have?
Every Equipment has a color, 5 colors in total. They can be listed in the order of bonus, from lowest to highest: White==>Green==>Blue==>Purple==>Orange==>Red.

50. How to make profits in trade?
When Market shows up in the Lv 12 City, you start crops tradings in it. Buy low and sell high is a good way to make profits, and remember, the peak crops price is 2.0 while the bottom is 0.5.

51. Why can’t I start Ranch War?
Ranch War can only be started by League Host who has been in the League for at least 2 days, and the League should have a level above 10.

52. How does Hero EXP increase?
When you start training a Hero, his EXP will be refreshed every 10 seconds. Higher Arena level and advanced Training Mode gives more EXP at every refresh so your Hero can be upgraded faster. If you want an upgrade immediately, assist the training with Exploits or Gold.

When you start to carry out adventure, the new points you get from the first few adventures are the same no matter what adventure you take. Fighting Legions will always consume bugle whatever level you are at. Bugle will be spared only when you are defeated in the fight with NPC (a single troop) before you achieve Lv 35.

61. Whether will I get less Silver from Levy after I’ve been conquered by another player and become his Vassal?
No, you won’t. Being conquered will not influence the amount of your levied Silver because system will levy extra Silver in your city and attribute it to your Sovereign.

62. Whether will the bonus in the improvement of Equipment be decided by the Color or the Level of the Equipment?
The improvement bonus is decided by the color of Equipment instead of its level. Equipment colors can be listed as White—Green—Blue—Purple—Orange—Red, from lowest bonus to highest bonus. Equipment level decides the initial value in improvement.

63. Last evening I declared Truce for free, but when I wanted to do it again in the morning of today, I was asked to pay for it. Wasn’t the Truce refreshed in the night?
There is only one Truce in 24 hrs. You won’t have another free Truce until the exact same time of next day.

64. What is the use of the Technology of Supply?
It increases the efficiency of supplying Heroes with Soldiers.

65. Why is the Technology of Medicine useful?
It reduces Soldiers lost in war. With this tech, lost Soldiers will be < N when there should be N lost Soldiers.

81. Why can I still fight NPC when the Soldier value is 0?
The Soldier value represents the amount of soldier reserve in your Barrack. Your Heroes may still have soldiers in their troops to fight a battle when the soldier reserve is 0.

82. In what way is the Clone button supposed to be used in Domain War?
When you click on the Clone button, you create a clone troop at the exact domain you are in. This clone troop is a copy of your troop and can ensure your defense in that domain while you are engaged in somewhere else.

83. Why can’t I impose levy when my Silver is not too much and my Gold is enough?
It may be caused by an insufficient VIP level. If so, you need to upgrade your VIP level.

84. On what ground is the Crops limit in Black Market calculated?
The Crops limit in Black Market is the Crops you can buy with all your Silver on the condition that Granary will not be exploded. Otherwise, it will be the largest amount of Crops the Granary can hold.

Scipii

Family Territory:

The real Scipii didn’t show themselves in the eyes of the public until the civil war had been going for a while. Some Romans suddenly understood that the Scipii were actually the peace terminator. Julii

Family Territory:

In the civil war set off by the crack of the Triumvirate, Julii quickly took control of many fertile and rich provinces, including Macedon, Greek Cities, Seleucid, Egypt and Parthia. Though the sea might be a set back in the Julii army’s rapid gathering, the rich lands and many talented generals have already decided the end for the Julii in the wars with hostile families.

Seemingly the lives of the Julii Family were not blessed by the sisters of Fate. Although many Julii were talented and did make wonders with the Roman Army, few of them could ever live a long life or even die in peace. Finally the seniors in the Family decided to make changes. They incorporated and sponsored a lot of promising young people from poor patricians and even plebeians and their efforts paid back. The Roman citizens began to feel that the Julii were quite nice people. Unlike other big Families, they never stood high and cool above people, instead, they got down to them. The citizens liked to call them “Defender of People”. While other old families despised the new aristocrats aided by the Julii, they played a critical role in Julii’s becoming one of the dominative families in Rome. In operations confronting barbarians in the North, the Julii were always able to win the final victory with those young and grateful armymen, and Romans liked winners. At last the Senatus and the nobility began to realize that the Julii had unmatched influence over the plebs.

Brutii

Family Territory:

When the civil war break out, the Brutii found that people no longer counted Republic as the indispensable element of Rome and that their longtime friend had win the overwhelming support of the plebs. The Brutii wasn’t cleared up by the hostile Family with the support of the north regions they ran with heart for many years. But their dream of rising as powerful family again seems to be less possible. For now the Brutii controlled Germania, Dacia, Thrace, Scythia, Pontus, Armenia. They applied a tight military policy and put the focus on defending.

Family Background:

Romans never forgot that it was the Brutii who lead them in overthrowing the reign of the tyrants and promoted the foundation of the Roman Republic. They have been the core of the republic and were called “Father of Republic”. In the other way, Republic was the ultimate principle that the Brutii would never give up, which was exactly the difference between the Brutii and other families. They occupied the most important seats in the Senatus, they share a large responsibility in the public life, they were the most pure and noble blood in the land of Roman Republic. Though they had all the privilege, real political and military geniuses were rarely seen in the Brutii descendants, which was worse when Rome was undergoing an eager expansion. The conservative force in the Senatus hoped that the Brutii would protect Republic as they did in the last two hundred years.
